“There’s a lead!”

Our new distributors don’t understand. What do they do first? Look for some good leads and prospects. But isn’t almost everyone a lead?

So we could do this. Take our new prospect to a crowded place. Then say, “Look! There is a lead. There is another lead. Oh, that person is a prospect too!”

Of course they are all prospects and leads. That is not the challenge.

The challenge is “what we say” to these people.

New distributors don’t know what to say. Their solution for this handicap? They look for a lead or prospect that will join … even if they say the wrong words. Now, that is a difficult way to build a business.

When we teach our team exactly what to say, then almost everyone becomes a better prospect.


“Here is the short story.”

Here is what I heard yesterday. (Actually, you and I will hear this all the time.) I said, “Here is the short story …” And the person I was talking to automatically replied, “Oh, that is what I wanted.”

Our job is to say the right words so our prospects will open their minds and actually hear the good message we want to deliver. The message is easy. Getting an open mind from our prospects takes proven word phrases, rapport, and a lot more.

Everyone is busy. This phrase is music to their ears. They want to sort out our message quickly so that they can move on to other pressing items in their busy lives.
