If you’re looking to join a new MLM business/company, for whatever reason, then there are some things that you need to be aware of before you start your search.
You see, MLM business is serious right back into the same old thing again.
There are many things to consider in business, and it takes a huge commitment so you have to be sure that if you’re getting out of an opportunity that you’re not happy with any longer, that you’re not jumping, and it’s likely that if you’ve been in the MLM industry for a little while that you’re very likely aware of some of these things. But sometimes in our haste, we don’t tend to think straight, and therefore our decision-making process is skewed.
So here are 5 Vital Factors to Consider When Looking to Join a New MLM Business /Company…
The Opportunity Category –
When you’re looking to join the new opportunity what you want to make sure is that your opportunity and is in a growing or evergreen market. By this, I mean that the market place is hungry for the products that you’ll be selling… which means that they’ll always be a chance for the business opportunity to succeed.
In other words, you don’t want something that’s seen its day such as maybe phone cards for instance. Things in technology change so quickly that products can be hot today but not so much in perhaps even a year.
This is why Ann and I have always focused on health and wellness. Health and wellness will always be popular no matter what. But with our current company we also know that the fact that they’ve got a product that’s completely unique to the health and wellness industry both in the way that it’s consumed and, in the formulation, it’s a product line that’s got huge growth potential. It’s also proven that by growing globally at a record pace.
Compensation –
So often we see people join an opportunity that’s got potential to be great, with innovative products and market. However, the company never takes off simply because of the compensation plan. If the compensation plan isn’t structured so that people can make good money for their efforts…including the newbies just getting started, then the company won’t go anywhere. You’ll also quickly begin to feel discouraged and as though you’re wasting your precious time…which you very well may be.
Make sure that the compensation plan will pay you well, and let you make money fast for your efforts. Also, you’ll want to make sure that you get paid for all of your efforts and for your entire downline that you’ve created. This means making sure you get paid infinitely.
This is one of the things that drew us to our current company as well. We know that the people that we bring in will make money if they work…right from the very beginning. We also know that we’ll get paid forever on their entire downline no matter how large it grows.
Training –
When you join a network marketing company, even if you’ve been in the business, there is training that must be considered. If you haven’t done as well as you wanted, you may actually benefit greatly from this training, and gain new insights on how to grow your business.
The training is a huge factor that you want to make sure is present. You want to make sure that you’re getting cutting edge training for what’s working now…but as well as getting training from an upline who is experienced and has seen success themselves.
Mentoring –
Now some people will consider this the same as training but there’s a difference in our eyes and the way that we run our business.
You see anyone can put together a training package full of material and tell you exactly what you should do. Even the MLM business/company that you join will have this generic training, but mentoring is different.
Mentoring is the difference between learning Karate from a book or learning it from Mr. Miyagi!
Mentors will hold your hand, support you, and push you over the finish line. If they’re like us then they won’t drag you over the finish line, but they’ll be there with you the whole time keeping you motivated, keeping you accountable, and in general making, you a better YOU! That’s what mentors do for you compared to training, and you should sincerely be on the lookout for that when you’re looking to join a new MLM opportunity…
MLM System – While training and mentoring are vital, they’ll both work much better when there’s a system to be trained and mentored with. Better yet, a system that’s proven to work like gangbusters! Now there are tons of MLM marketing systems for all sorts of different things, but the point is that if you’re working with a proven system then your chances of success are heightened greatly.
This means a system for getting leads, staying in touch with those leads, and closing those leads…whether it be online or off. You should always be working within and trying to perfect 1 system, and then add on from there to grow your MLM business exponentially.
So, there you go, if you’re looking to join a new MLM opportunity, you now know what vital factors that need to be in place.
