I was first introduced to network marketing in 1979 and fell in love with the concept of creating residual income.
Unfortunately, up until 1995, I didn’t have much success. I loved every company I was with and enjoyed the benefits of the products. I did most of what my upline told me to do and attended all the meetings and conventions. I make my warm market list, printed opportunity cards, ran ads, called leads, and even talked with strangers. Yet, nothing ever worked very well. I was frustrated and ready to quit.
That’s where the main character, Tim, is when our new book,
Breaking Through, A Christian’s Journey to Network Marketing Success opens. I say our because I co-wrote this book with my good friend and brother, George Madiou. We actually did most of the writing back in 2007, but it wasn’t the right time to publish the book. We’ve now updated the book and it’s time.

Back to my story. 1995 was my breakthrough year. I went from being marginally successful to one of the top income earners in my company. Also, that year, I published my first book, Successful Network Marketing for the 21st Century, which was an industry best-seller. I have enjoyed great success ever since.
What was the difference? That’s what George and I share in Breaking Through.
It’s a fun story about Tim, a struggling network marketer, who is just about ready to quit the industry. His wife is hounding him to quit and all his friends think he’s crazy. He’s on a plane heading to his company convention in Hawaii when he meets Paul. That interaction changes Tim’s life forever.

It’s a fun and quick read, yet it’s packed with many decades of wisdom from two veterans of the network marketing industry.
