Eating Mad by Ken Crawford

Ken CrawfordCatch an attitude of transformation for bettering your own personal wellness and positively impacting your network marketing business for years to come.  A few weeks ago one of my sons unexpectedly called my wife asking for a ride home from practice. His mother, who was up against a deadline, found her day interrupted with now having to pick up our son. After arriving at the practice field she was ready to return home and pick up where she left off, however my son wanted to stop along the way and pick up a frozen non-fat treat which would cause further delays for my wife’s deadline. In our kitchen we keep a small cabinet called the A.P.C. (ask permission cabinet) and with his frozen non-fat treat being denied until another time our son rode home in silent anger. Once home he sought out a beverage from the A.P.C. and drank it down before receiving permission let alone asking for it. Fueled by his anger he felt a sense of entitlement to enjoy some sort of treat. These feelings of entitlement caused him to act without concern as to possible punishment.  NULL

This type of behavior is what I call retaliation eating and it is punishing our health. Emotional eating isn’t uncommon however we must learn to control the need to eat for the purpose of making up for something we’ve missed out on.

Maybe you’ve become angered at your lack of weight loss success. You’ve done everything possible but the scale still refuses to show the result you want. It doesn’t take long before your disappointment leaves you frustrated, angry and feeling entitled. It isn’t uncommon to respond by retaliating with food, discontinuing exercise or even giving up completely. If the person I just described sounds familiar then make a decision to transform by creating a new mindset where you become determined, committed and someone with a renewed attitude of overcoming and conquering.

Getting a better attitude starts with deciding to have a better attitude.

Dennis Mannering challenged us all when he said that “attitudes are contagious. Is yours worth catching?” In the coming months I will be here to help create an infectious environment. One where you can catch an attitude of transformation for bettering your own personal wellness and positively impacting your network marketing business for years to come.
