I’ve found that managing my energy by paying attention to how I feel throughout the day means everything gets managed brilliantly! “How to manage your business, your time and your life” – a big order, isn’t it. Yet maybe it can all be boiled down to one word… clarity. When you’re clear about the destination, in other words, when you know exactly what your goal is, you’ll find that managing things becomes easier.
Once you’re clear about the destination you’re virtually compelled to create a plan for reaching it.
And if you are really lined up with the goal, it really jazzes you and you can truly ‘see’ yourself arriving, then the plan unfolds with relative ease and little to no resistance. Today I dropped a friend off at the Minneapolis airport to catch a flight out to LA. She’s been planning this trip for a month. Each day she was inspired to take some action that served to move her closer to her destination… LA. You see, the trip started on the day she made the decision to go! NULL
Understand, she runs her own business full-time and also has a household to run and a family to support, and relationships to tend to. Those things don’t just go on hold, yet there was no real challenge involved in adding the actions needed to keep her moving in the direction of today’s destination. Or tomorrow’s… or the day after that. One day she booked her flight. One day she made arrangements for where she will be staying while out there. One day she readjusted her work schedule for the weeks she would be away. One day she set up desired appointments for herself and her pets. One day she shipped out her luggage (cheaper than those fees the airlines charge these days) And on it goes… yet each day she still had the time and energy for her work, her husband, her children, her pets, her friends, herself. It wasn’t a chore… and the time to take on these extra tasks seemed to magically appear. Yet I know it wasn’t magic. It was having a clear and highly desirable destination in sight and taking the time each day to get aligned with that desire. My network marketing business started to change for me on the day I started seeing it as a highly desirable trip. Suddenly, it didn’t require quite so much ‘managing’. I’ve discovered that when I’m clear and excited about what’s important to me and others, it’s like the universe conspires to cooperate, I’m inspired to take action that brings the result I desire and the day flows easily in a very natural way as I look forward, yet bask in appreciation of each step along the way. Here’s what I know is true for me… managing my business, my time and my life starts with making a decision about where I want to be and then taking the time to line up with that. Sure, I have a plan (it’s my roadmap) and I take advantage of a variety of systems I have set in place to guide me along the path, but
