Mike and Elaine Payne met 47 years ago working in healthcare.
Elaine’s nursing practice revolved around critical care and nursing education.
Mike’s practice began as a Respiratory Therapist and evolved into Risk Management and Compliance.
They recognized that they worked well together and were employed in the healthcare industry for over 40 years.
Although they had different personalities, they had complementary skills.
In the health profession, burnout, PTSD, inadequate sleep, physical discomfort, and caring for others while ignoring the health needs of oneself, are common themes in this healthcare community.
