What Holds Us Back?

The only thing between where we are now and where we want to be is … what we don’t know yet.

Don’t let others tell us that we are not motivated, that our goals are too weak, or that we don’t care. That isn’t the problem.

As we learn what we don’t know now, we will get closer to the success we want. Let’s not pace ourselves though. Life isn’t forever. Let’s aggressively start learning what we don’t know so we can enjoy our careers in network marketing.

Soundbites Sell

An easy way to get decisions is to use soundbites. These short phrases help prospects make instant decisions to buy or join. Here are a few examples:

“If you don’t take care of your body, then where are you going to live?”
“Jobs interfere with the week.”
“How to stop our skin from wrinkling while we sleep.”
“How to get your electricity company to send you a check instead of a bill.”
“Laugh while you write your own paychecks.”

Soundbites work!

How new team members struggle

New team members can feel like there’s too much to learn, and it can be overwhelming.

How can they be effective from the very first minutes of their careers?

Selective learning.

After the presentation and enrollment, we only have a few minutes before our new team member goes home. If we could teach our new team member just one thing, what would it be?

A single sentence to help them explain their product or service.

We don’t want them apologizing, talking too long, or sounding like a salesman.

An example of a one-sentence product or service explanation?

“This makes our face an even better first impression.”
“We fix failed diet plans that don’t work.”
“Instead of keeping our higher rate, this gives us the lower rate.”
“Travel at travel-agent rates.”
“Makes us younger while we sleep.”
“It is like having a lawyer in our phone.”
“Never have tangled hair again.”

Now they can say something useful while they learn other skills over the next few days.
