Not Taking Things For Granted Is Very Important By Mike Unclebach

When it comes to your network marketing career, not taking things for granted is very important.

It is netWORK marketing, but it’s totally worth the work.

Hoping somehow that the right person will magically show up on your team and make you a bunch of money without you putting in the effort is not realistic, it’s not about getting lucky. When I’m mentoring someone in regards to their network marketing career, the very first conversation that we ever have is about consistency. Simply showing up for work on a regular basis.

If you bought a Subway franchise and spent well over $100,000 to acquire it, you would work countless hours, probably even have a cot in the back room as you made sure that you got a return on your investment.

The problem with network marketing is you don’t have to invest $100,000. Quite often it’s a few hundred dollars at most to start your network marketing business, so you don’t have a lot of skin in the game.

This makes it easy to not pay the proper amount of attention to your business. My advice is to set your schedule. Know exactly how many hours per week, month, and this year that you plan to put in your network marketing business. By the way, you can always raise that amount.

Get with your mentor, write out the plan, and then execute the plan. If you’ll simply take the time and treat your network marketing business like you would if you had $100,000 on the line, you can and will grow your business into something you can be proud of and that will reward you financially for years to come.

My last thought is to remember you are in a relationship business. You are growing and building relationships.

Part of the plan is personal growth and developing your ability to build relationships that will help you grow your business. Part of showing up every day is being aware of your surroundings, always taking the opportunity to be nice and make a friend and grow your center of influence. I think over time you will find these things to be quite rewarding in the growth of your business.

Don’t take things for granted, don’t expect somebody to magically show up and build your business for you.

It’s your job to show up for work and have a plan to invest in yourself, and to invest in relationships that will help you grow your business. Many blessings to you and your family. Mike Unclebach
